§ 44-19. Declaring results of election.

The city council hereby ordains and declares that a majority of the qualified electors of the village voting at the election have voted for the adoption of a one percent local sales and use tax within the village and that a one percent local sales and use tax be and the same is hereby adopted and shall become effective in accordance with the provisions of V.T.C.A., Tax Code ch. 321.
