§ 2-243. Nonparticipation in the Firefighters' Relief and Retirement Fund.

Pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (b), § 2 of Acts, 65th Tex. Leg., p. 710, ch. 269, codified as Vernon's Ann. Civ. St. art. 6243e.3, § 2(b), the city council, being the governing body thereof, hereby elects to exempt the village from the requirements of the act and hereby exercises the option not to participate in the Firefighters' Relief and Retirement Fund created by the act.
