§ 12-1. Street numbers.

(a)

All buildings to have street numbers. Each, every and all main residential, business, commercial and industrial buildings shall have placed on the front of the building, as designated by Center Point, a street number of a size and color legible enough to be seen by the public from the street immediately in front of the building.

(b)

Violation of code. It shall be the duty of the owners and occupants of every house or building used for residential, business, commerce or industry in the village to have placed thereon, in a place visible from the street in front, figures in Arabic or letters at least three and one-half inches high, showing the number of the house or building, as designated by Center Point. Any person, firm, partnership, association or corporation failing to so number any house, building or structure shall be guilty of a code violation after a 30 day notice is provided.
